The gemstone is typically white or grey with black patterns in the characteristic needle-like formations of black tourmaline. The properties of both gemstones are present in tourmaline quartz. This stone provides grounding, protection, and cleansing. The black tourmaline element offers excellent protection against various forms of radiation and negative energy. Additionally, thanks to the quartz component, the stone has purifying and healing qualities.
